Microsoft Teams is the fastest growing Microsoft Application with over 20 million daily active users and over 500,000 using the app that’s why it’s no surprise that they continue to improve the App and implement new integrations.

Their latest announcement that’s about to come early this year is the highly requested Teams & Outlook integration, this allows emails and associated attachments to be shared into a Teams channel for internal discussion with a new “Share to Teams” button inside Outlook. You can also reply to a Teams email through Outlook, so you will no longer go to Teams to reply saving you time, productivity and improving the way you collaborate.

Collaboration has never been this efficient, structured, and well planned. Microsoft continuous to grow and improve their apps and services, benefiting all organisations no matter the size & location.

Here are other upcoming features set to launch early this year:

Private Channels – To provide a private space within a team, Teams is allowing you to create a private channel. The people you invite will be the only ones who can view the channel.

Multi-Window – This new feature will let you open a meeting & chat, basically a new window and navigate between other open windows, allowing you to use the rest of Teams features efficiently.

Messaging Extensions – Let’s you create a survey or poll to ask questions and get feedback you need, this will appear in the chat feed or meeting window allowing you to get real time responses.

Tasks – You will be able to access all your tasks from MS To Do, Teams Channels, Planner, Outlook and other Microsoft Apps inside Teams.

Live Captions – Teams captions will be auto-created and displayed in real-time during video call meetings.

Collaboration has never been this efficient, structured, and well planned. Microsoft continuous to grow and improve their apps and services, benefiting all organisations no matter the size & location.
