CROFTi Innovation Consulting was built off the back of listening and learning from what our clients wanted and required.  When we first started CROFTi, we kicked off with one of our first products, Offshoring.  We ran this for 18 months and shutdown the product as clients weren’t ready to implement the requirements to allow for Offshoring to work.  

What is offshoring. The reason we shutdown offshore consulting –  

As we setup offshoring services for clients we quickly realised that employing remote staff in the Philippines or anywhere else around the world, was only one cog in the wheel.  People who implemented offshoring staff just thought you could send tasks overseas and expect them to come back perfectly fine.  This is not the case.  What we quickly learned was that “offshoring” failed within 3 months for many clients due to not having the following in place: 

  • Business Structure 
  • Delegating skills 
  • Systems 

So we formed CROFTi Innovation Consulting.  Our vision is to bring businesses into the 21st century by spreading the power of innovation and modern technology and to enable a stress free, enjoyable and profitable future.

Old to New and Growing Pains are our two main ideal client Avatars (link to Avatar page).  Clients engage with CROFTi to help bring the business into a modern standpoint and provide smarter and more efficient ways to run and expand the business for the long-term while understanding what the market requires from the new age of their industry.  The need for their company to improve their business structure & systems has been identified as a critical enabling factor for them to achieve their desired goals.  The platforms, systems and structure currently in place are lacking efficiency, quality and consistency for the business owners, c-suite and staff members as well as their customers.  The lack of a digital and automated process is restricting revenue potential, opportunity to grow and therefore the profitability of the business into the future.  Once the operational foundation is set and the internal process is improved, this will in turn allow the company to expand through a variety of options without the upset of losing clients or customer satisfaction.

Most businesses are using multiple systems for internal & external communications, document management and accounting which is mainly manual processes as the systems are not stand-alone or integrated.  By systematizing and automating as many of the processes as possible including removing unnecessary manual and slow steps, it will reduce the amount of time the staff spends on these tasks, also reducing the frustration that comes with it, allowing for a smooth and seamless customer journey.

CROFTi will review the current systems to determine if they can be used as a solid starting point with options for improvements or if they are unsatisfactory and need to be replaced.  At the completion of this, the client will be able to effectively and efficiently deliver their services to clients.  The desired outcome of this project is to further automate and systematize the current processes and systems that the business currently has in use, or implement new systems through business process improvement and agile project management methodology.  The short-term goal will be to obtain effective products through market research to replace or enhance the current systems while matching the functional requirements.  The long-term goal is to improve all aspects of the business through research, development, implementation and provide ongoing support.


A half day or full day strategy sessions allow us to dive deep into the business translating the high level outcomes into a 6 to 12 month project plan.  The initial project we kick off with is the Business Process Management project.


The BPM allows us to dig deep within your organisation, allowing us to find out where your business is at now (from the team members who are entrenched in the day to day) as this will allow us to achieve the desired outcome.  What we find is speaking with team members from the business uncovers some great ideas which is a great starting point for innovation from the inside out.


The process we go through is as follows;

  • Document the business processes currently in place
  • Create a process map for the staff and business functions
  • Propose innovative systems for automation and digital efficiency
  • Obtain verification from the client
  • Propose innovative digitised processes for automation and digital efficiency
  • Create a deliverable scope
  • Investigate and evaluate existing products from the market for suitability
  • Documentation of measurable outcomes for each of the project milestones
  • Develop a business case or proposed plan for implementation of systems and automation

Business structure

As we go through our business process management stage, various recommendations can arise and we recommend that any dealings with business structure are undertaken as a first priority.  Sometimes we find individuals would be better suited to a different role in the organisation, other times it could be increased management oversight that is required.  A common recommendation is a change in culture – which is no easy feat.  As an organisation we don’t implement every recommendation we make, instead we work with trusted partners to ensure our clients get the best outcomes.



After researching and recommending systems, we manage the rollout of any systems and assist with the setup.  Any system agreements required are made between you and the system vendor, with CROFTi injecting accountability and ensuring setup meets the organisational requirements, taking into consideration any other systems also being deployed.


At CROFTi we believe in automation, with one of our main goals always being integration between software and systems.  We can handle the rollout of integration technologies, and when one doesn’t exist, we can scope and source tenders for the creation of an integration piece to ensure your systems are sharing information and working for you the best they can.


Education and Training

Any system CROFTi puts in place we will provide education and training – where this isn’t provided as part of your on-boarding with the vendor.  Education and training can be provided in the forms of group training, train-the-trainer, one-on-one, written documentation, video tutorials or a combination of any of these.
